A-plus accepted my call the day before Thanksgiving eve, came the following morning early for a pre-service briefing and gave my dog two 1/2 hour walks while I was gone. "A-Plus Pets is a real find. The owner has a business background, and it shows. She is extremely professional, and makes sure her employees are as well. They leave detailed notes at each visit. The last time we used her company to watch our dog, he had been injured the night before and was on a lot of medication, in pain, etc., but we had to leave town. A-Plus Pets took excellent care of Riley, and responded to our email request of his progress with a very detailed email within the hour (maybe even half hour). Additionally, she has hired some perfect employees - we were able to get a vet tech to watch Riley as he recovered in the comfort of his own home! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!"

"We were really happy with A-Plus Pets! They are responsive and professional, and really nice. When I first called, Thanh came out to meet our dog and talk about the services, and what was really nice was that she brought Chris along (Chris was going to the primary dog walker for us). My dog really liked both of them, and it was nice to get to meet the person who would be bonding with my dog while I was gone. They make a point to give you consistency, so you don't have to worry about your dog getting used to a new person every time. Each time they come out, they give you a little note to let you know how your dog was, what he did, etc. We felt really good about the care our dog was getting, and our dog also seemed to feel good about it!"

"We have used A Pets twice now. We could not be more pleased with the service they provide. They are organized, extremely responsive, reliable, and our pets seem happy when we come back from vacation, which has not always been the case with other pet sitters. They will also do just about anything extra to take care of your house, like bring in mail, water plants, even water the lawn. They have an extremely thorough checklist of what the pet sitter should do each day. They also check to make sure you have actually returned from your trip as planned, to ensure your pets aren't let alone too long if you have been delayed. They give the impression of truly caring for the pets they are responsible for, which gives us extra peace of mind. We love A Pets!”

"I was looking for a pet sitter to take care my two dogs and after a few interviews I found A-Plus Pet in McLean. I was very impressed with their professionalism. They, a manager and the pet sitter, took the time to really get to know my dogs, and they were very thorough. The consultation lasted over an hour. Their service has been very good they are great with my dogs. They leave very detailed and meaningful notes on the visit, at times, bringing to my attention things that they have observed. I am very happy with them, and I recommend them to everyone."

"The owner came over to my house with the dog sitter/walker who would most often be assigned to me. She was very professional. Asked detailed questions about my dog's routines, where to find dog-related items, and how to work things in the house. I signed paperwork so that if anything happened to the dog in my absence, the sitter would be allowed to seek veterinary services. I also put a credit card on file, so that I can be billed after any services. They spent some time getting to know my dog, as well, so he would be at ease when someone came over. A checklist is developed so that everything is covered. I have used the service for a couple of overnight visits, as well as walks. It could not be easier to work with them-- I just email and know the rest is taken care of. They leave a detailed form that tells me everything that happened the form is left even for a walk. I will continue to use A-Plus Pets, and can't recommend them highly enough."

"I had a last minute family emergency requiring me to go out of town. I found out about the company from a nearby upscale pet food shop. I spoke with the owner and she was especially accommodating to my situation. I was even able to get insulin administered to one of my cats.
