Genuine love for animals. True animal lovers, who have owned or cared for pets. Love being around animals.

What is the hiring process

All candidates undergo an extensive interview process:

Step 1. We start with a phone screen, then an in-office interview.

Step 2. Then you spend a couple of days shadowing one of our professionals so we can evaluate you, and you can evaluate whether the job is for you. This is a paid activity.

Step 3. If you deemed are a good fit, then you submit to a background check to include: criminal, credit, employment, reference, education and driver’s license checks.

Step 4. If everything checks out: You're HIRED!

Upon joining A-Plus Pets, there is an on-boarding orientation on our policies and procedures, with a focus on protocols for pet care and security of clients' homes. On-the-job training with a professional to instill comprehension of our procedures and policies is conducted over a 2-week period before going out on your own.
